Because it is experimental there are occasionally bugs, these are usually fixed very quickly. Betaflight is rapidly changing and advancing, as a result, by flashing it to your flight controller you get a cutting edge experience and access to new and developing features.
I am using the SP Racing F3 FC, (from banggood) I finally have my build done and went to connect BetaFlight, and when I tap connect I get the message in the picture. Note: It also says 'Failed to open serial port' I go into cleanflight, choose and load the firmware, but when I press flash it scrolls me down to this screen: It has a naze32 Rev6 and I can't flash it or connect it to my mac. I just got my first miniquad (250) and I'm struggling to set it up.
